Biscuit Porcelain Musician Lamp with Pleated Fringed Shade

A vintage table lamp centred on a biscuit porcelain couple, with a seated musician holding a bandurria beside a young woman. The group rests on an openwork gilt-coloured base and is completed by a cream diagonally pleated shade with fringe.

Materials: Biscuit porcelain, gilt-coloured metal and fabric shade.

Condition: The musician's bandurria has a glued repair, visible in the original detail photograph. There are marks from age and handling, together with creasing and irregularity in the shade fringe. The shade sits slightly off-centre on its curved support. In working order; electrical safety has not been independently tested.
