Description

An oval hand mirror with polychrome floral cloisonne enamel and a gilt metal frame.

Blue and red flowers alternate around the cream and turquoise frame. The reverse is plain with an aged patina and hanging ring. The main photograph shows the front in close-up; the reverse photograph shows the complete handle.

Dimensions: Height: 26.5 cm · Width: 10.5 cm.

Materials: Gilt metal with floral cloisonne enamel and mirror glass.

Condition: Visible deterioration and mottling of the mirror silvering, with age-related wear to the metal.
