A gilt-bronze mantel clock on a brown marble base, with a seated woman beside an anchor and a small cherub above the dial. The white Roman-numeral face is surrounded by scrolling ornament, with a richly decorated lower case.

Materials: Gilt bronze, brown marble and an iron anchor detail.

Condition: Pre-owned, with rubbing, darkening in recessed metalwork and small surface marks to the marble base. The clock is in working order; timekeeping accuracy has not been independently tested. Original photographs show the dial, base ornament and reverse.
