A hand-wound mantel clock with a seated bronze woman and a lyre above a stepped black marble case. A dark Roman-numeral dial is framed by gilt trim, with bronze claw feet and foliate ornament below.

Materials: Bronze, gilt-bronze ornament and black marble.

Condition: Pre-owned, with rubbing and variation in the bronze patina, scratches and surface marks to the black marble, and wear to the gilt trim. The clock is in working order; timekeeping accuracy has not been independently tested. The original photographs include the rear movement opening.
